
Hiyya! I’m Sarah. I love everything about good nutrition, farmers’ markets, trying new veggies, and using the freshest ingredients possible — might I add that I’m also vegan.
Over the past 5 years, I lost close to 130 pounds. It was a long and difficult process, but I’ve never been happier or healthier. My journey started when I joined a local YMCA and started walking 3 times a week. It used to take me an hour to walk 3 miles. Now, I can run 3 miles in 28 minutes!
Once I started to see changes in my body and was able to do more at the gym, I started to eat healthier foods, cook all my meals, and increase the amount of fruit and veggies in my diet.
It’s been this combination of a very active lifestyle plus healthy, wholesome foods that has gotten me to this point. I’ve gone from a girl who would get winded walking up several flights of steps to someone who has run countless 5ks and 10ks, three half marathons, and three Blue Cross Broad Street Runs.
