My name is Lou, but my friends call me L.A. I have a real interest in diet and nutrition as well as physical activities and mental health. I am really excited about sharing my existing knowledge and new experiences with you on the Walk the Talk blog.
In October of last year, I decided to take some steps towards living a healthier lifestyle. I started by joining a Weight Watchers at Work program. In 7 months, I lost 30 pounds and I’ve been working on maintaining that weight loss ever since.
Now that I’ve got my diet under control, I’d like to become more active. To do this, I plan to begin participating in physical activities and visiting the gym more often. I would also love to try a new experience, such as taking a yoga or pilates class, or trying something for the first time, like kayaking.
